Yes, friends, I will be wearing a beautiful sari come the Fourth of July, beacuse I'm going to be in a wedding that day! One of my co-workers is getting married to the love of her life in LA this summer, and she's asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. It's a little ironic because this will be my first time as a bridesmaid, even though I'm already married. I always thought it went the other way around, but I guess life doesn't always follow convention.

Her wedding colors are red and brown, so she'll be in a red wedding dress, and her five bridesmaids will all be in brown saris. The actual saris that we'll be wearing haven't been chosen yet, but when they are, I'll be sure to post a pic of the real one. I'm excited!
